U.S. Section Assess Rich Leon determined recently that the cigarette smoking manufacturers are likely to triumph in a suit to quit a Food and Drug Administration need that they put pictures across the top half of all their features. The pictures included photos of dead and infected people who smoke, which Leon said went beyond transferring the facts about health problems into stop-smoking loyality.
The need was supposed to go into effect next year. But Leon clogged it until after the suit is solved, which could take years.
The management submitted a notice of appeal Wednesday to the U.S. Court of Appeals in Wa.
