Screw Google Social Music Store

In the event in Los Angeles, Google unveiled its digital music store update, called Google Music, music will start selling online immediately catalogs of EMI Group, Sony Music and Universal Music. A list of independent record labels have also signed. Warner Music is not yet on board.

The search giant has also reached an agreement with studies that allow music purchases to be shared through Google + social network. People can share entire albums with Google + with friends.

"Recommendations from friends are the main way that people discover new music. And we believe that this social function has the potential to really change the purchasing behavior," said Zahava Levine, director of Google content partnerships.
